A $15 billion emergency bridge loan for the nation’s Big Three automakers to save the industry many call the backbone of our economy may come to vote in Congress this week. Brian Schneck, president of UAW Local 259, says it’s not just a loan to the auto industry, but a “middle class bridge loan.”
